Just a quick PSA for those in the world that think MRSA is a joke -- it's not. It put my daugther in the hospital. It caused issues for me when I had it in my ear. It's not something to take lightly or make a joke about it. How would you like it if we made light of a condition one of your children had?
Sorry just had to vent and get that out. Mean people SUCK.

Damn straight! Who would make fun of an disease that causes pain? Poor little Madelyn and you guys went through a lot - who is this mean person and what did they say (just out of curiosity)?
Mean people do suck. And unfortunately, some are meaner than others. Thank God your children are not exposed to the meanness!
I've been meaning to comment on this for a while...our family does not joke about MRSA! We were lucky that we just ended up with outpatient ER visits and antibiotics did the trick for us. We were worried about you folks when it hit you and wouldn't wish what you went through on anyone (except perhaps the nasty person who left you icky comments, but probably not).
